Polimex Mostostal sold 100% of Grande Meccanica Spa

Scouting Spa acted as sell-side financial advisor

POLIMEX MOSTOSTAL SOLD 100% OF GRANDE MECCANICA SPA

  • Polimex Mostostal, a Polish engineering and construction company operating in energy, chemical, petrochemical and industry sectors, has successfully completed the sale of 100% of Grande Meccanica SpA, an Italian engineering company specialized in the design and realization of metal works for chemical and petrochemical plants, located in Narni (TR).
  • Polimex Mostostal is listed at Warsaw Stock Exchange, and in 2015 it registered over 580 million euros of value of production.
  • Grande Meccanica Spa, with ca. 80 employees and a production value in 2015 of ca. 15 million euros, is one of the main operators in the Italian Pressure Equipment market for chemical and petrochemical projects.
  • Scouting Spa acted as sell-side financial advisor to Polimex in the sale of 100% of the shares of Grande Meccanica SpA to a SPV controlled by the CEO of Grande Meccanica.
